History of Air Conditioning
Although it is thought that the known air conditioner was first invented in the 1900s, the history of the air conditioner actually dates back to the 1500s. In the 1500s AD, Leonard da Vinci developed the first fan, powered by water and sometimes surrounded by slaves, to cool the room of the duke of Milan and also his boss. In addition, in 1844, Apalachicola Naval Hospital Director John Gorrie announced the first cooling machine project and invented the first industrial type cooling / air conditioning machine in the world with the donation of 8080 patients until 1851. Later, some improvements were made on Gorrie's machine and a piston compressor was found. With the invention of the reciprocating compressor, ice machines, meat packaging, fish processing machines have completely taken their place in the industry.
